Barrowcliffes objectives are clear. We wish to ensure the supply
of high quality and technically assured produce complying with all
the legal requirements of our chosen field.
This is maintained by our strong technical team. This consists of a
Technical Manager, Technical Assistant, 2 QA Auditors and a Consultant Agronomist.
All of the Barrowcliffes Technical team have full Basic Food Hygiene
training. This training is currently being extended over the entire
Production Team.
All our raw materials are procured from a proven safe source of
supply. Our approved supplier list is audited regularly by our Technical Manager to ensure we obtain only the best raw materials.
Our Agronomist is also available to troubleshoot on the companies
behalf.
We have recently invested in automatic dosing units to enhance food
safety by ensuring the optimum cleansing and bacteriological reduction
on produce prepared in our Medium Care facility.
The site HACCP manual is regularly reviewed by the HACCP team. Barrowcliffes are a BRC accredited company.
