All the procurement at Barrowcliffes is handled personally by
the Managing Director, Lee Miller, highlighting the importance we
place in this area to the continued success of the Company and
ensuring 100% customer quality and service levels.
Barrowcliffes deal direct with Growers and pre-packers who have
all been audited by our Technical Manager and all are accredited with
either Assured Produce or Euregap. This enables us to develop the
strong relationships with our Growers that our Company philosophy
is based upon.
If at any time difficulties arise with supply, Barrowcliffes preferred
route is to work with the Grower to identify the problem and eliminate
it, creating an environment based on trust and loyalty.
The major advantage of achieving a supply base that straddles the
continent is the ability to achieve a year round supply, vital for
today’s modern food industry and for meeting our customer
expectations.
